This Approval & Registration Policy outlines the requirements, verification process, and approval criteria for businesses, professionals, and individuals wishing to list on SignUp Directory (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a directory dedicated to the signage industry.

1. Eligibility Requirements

1.1 Only businesses, professionals, and individuals directly involved in the signage industry or related sectors (e.g., printing, advertising, design, fabrication) are eligible to register.

1.2 Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Valid business registration (where applicable)
  • Industry-related portfolio, products, or services
  • Accurate and truthful contact information

1.3 Applications from individuals or businesses not relevant to the signage industry will automatically be rejected.

2. Required Information and Documentation

To complete registration, applicants must provide:

  • Business name and trading name (if applicable)
  • Physical business address
  • Contact information (phone, email, website)
  • Brief description of services offered
  • Proof of business registration (e.g., company certificate, tax registration)
  • Portfolio, images, or examples of signage work (for verification)
  • Identification of responsible person(s) for account management

3. Verification Process

3.1 Manual Review

  • Each application is manually reviewed by our administration team to verify eligibility and industry relevance.

3.2 Document Validation

  • Submitted business registration and portfolio documents are checked for authenticity.
  • Any discrepancies may result in delayed approval or rejection.

3.3 Right to Request Additional Information

  • We may request further documentation or clarification to confirm authenticity and industry relevance.
  • Failure to provide requested information may result in application rejection.

4. Approval Criteria

Applications will be approved only if:

  • The applicant meets all eligibility requirements
  • Submitted documentation is verified and authentic
  • The business or professional is directly related to the signage industry
  • The applicant agrees to comply with the Terms & Conditions of SignUp Directory

5. Rejection and Appeals

5.1 Rejection

We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a reason, particularly if the applicant:

  • Fails to meet eligibility requirements
  • Provides false or misleading information
  • Submits irrelevant or incomplete documentation

5.2 Appeals

  • Rejected applicants may submit an appeal with additional evidence or clarification.
  • Appeals will be reviewed at our discretion, and approval is not guaranteed.

6. Account Activation

6.1 Approved applicants will receive a confirmation email and login credentials to access their listing dashboard.

6.2 Listing activation is contingent on full compliance with this policy and the Terms & Conditions.

7. Ongoing Compliance

7.1 Approved businesses must maintain accurate and truthful information in their listings.

7.2 Non-compliance, misrepresentation, or violation of Terms & Conditions may result in suspension or permanent removal of the listing.

7.3 We reserve the right to periodically review listings to ensure continued eligibility.

8. Protection Measures

8.1 All information submitted during registration is handled in accordance with our POPI-compliant privacy policies.

8.2 Any unauthorized use or distribution of submitted documentation, portfolio images, or contact information is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
